Adolescent Therapy

Adolescence has always been complicated for parents and teens alike – it’s a time of incredible physical, intellectual, and emotional growth, and adapting to changes of such magnitude can be confusing and uncomfortable. Today’s society compounds the complexity with challenges that were unimaginable a generation ago. Between social media, political partisanship and rancor, instant-gratification consumerism, and the erosion of privacy, our culture can make adolescents angry, alienated, anxious and depressed. I help teens find meaning and direction in their own lives, and work with parents and teens together to improve communication and decrease conflict.
